Historic Boston-based sporting goods company Wright & Ditson. Originally introduced around 1900 and patented in 1905. Founded in 1871 by Baseball Hall of Famer George Wright and Boston businessman Henry Ditson. The company was acquired by Spalding in 1891, though the legendary Wright & Ditson name and its product lines continued well into the 20th century.
